Bridal & Group Booking Policy

Upon receival of your quote, you’ll have 48 hours to pay the deposit to secure the date before it is released and becomes available for other bookings. Due to high demand, all group bookings and bridal packages are not confirmed until the non-refundable deposit is received for the enquired date. This will be deducted from the total price of the booking, with the remaining payment to be made in cash on the day (preferable), or via bank transfer. Once the deposit has been received, an email will be sent to you confirming your date has been secured. Should you choose to wait to pay your deposit for any reason and the date becomes unavailable, By Alexandra is not held liable for any financial losses. 

Amendments, Cancellations and Rescheduling

By paying the deposit, you agree to pay the original quote as the minimum amount payable on the day, as well all the following policies. Additional services may be added (subject to availability), but any reduction in number of faces will still be charged at the original amount quoted.

Changes to the location, start time or number of applications will be agreed upon in writing at least 2 months before the event, and may be subject to additional charges. These must be paid before/on the day of the service. If any unanticipated fees are incurred on the day directly related to the booking, the client will be responsible for these expenses.

I understand circumstances may change, so should you need to cancel or reschedule your booking for any reason, I kindly ask that you please let me know with as much notice as possible. On the off chance you need to reschedule, I will make every effort to accommodate you, but unfortunately the availability cannot be guaranteed due to the high demand and will result in your deposit forfeited.

For any cancellations or rescheduling, I require written notice at least 6 months in advance before the date of your wedding or group booking. You may have the option to transfer to a new date within the next year, but this must be confirmed within 30 days from time of cancellation. Any cancellations made within 6 months of the booking date will have their deposit forfeited and will be required to pay the full quoted amount, unless otherwise stated. This is at the discretion of By Alexandra and you agree to these terms.

For extenuating circumstances, please email me directly and accommodations may be considered where appropriate. Any exceptions or amendments to these terms must be agreed upon in writing and are subject to approval from By Alexandra. Bridal trials are subject to the general studio booking policy. By Alexandra has the right to amend these terms & conditions at any time, and any changes will only apply to future bookings.  

Liability

Please inform me of any pre-existing allergies, conditions or skin sensitivities prior to your appointment. I will take every precaution to ensure your safety, but ultimately cannot be held liable for any reactions that occur due to undisclosed allergies.

Any makeup application done is at the client’s discretion, and at the end of the appointment, the client is encouraged to request any minor changes to refine the final look. By Alexandra is not held liable for any dissatisfaction if the client changes the desired look once they’ve left the premise and after the service has ended.

 Photography & Social Media Release

By Alexandra owns the right to any content captured during the appointment, with consent from the clients taken at the time. Clients are encouraged to take photos of their makeup to share with friends and on social media platforms. However, I ask that you please give credit to By Alexandra where possible.

Any amendments or exceptions to these terms must be agreed upon in writing and subject to approval. By Alexandra has the right to amend these terms & conditions at any time, and any changes will only apply to future bookings.
